Okay, so I've been using the Nokia G50 5G for about a month now, and here's my honest take.
First off, the screen is HUGE. Like, almost too big for my small hands. But once you get used to it, watching videos is actually pretty great. The colors pop nicely, and the resolution is decent for the price.
The battery life? Not bad at all! I'm getting through a full day with moderate use (social media, some YouTube, texting). The 18W fast charging is a nice touch when I do need to juice up quickly.
Now about that fingerprint sensor... yeah, it's weird. It works with any finger even though I only registered my thumb? Kinda defeats the purpose of security there, Nokia.
The camera setup is okay for casual shots in good light. Don't expect iPhone quality though - my old Samsung from three years ago takes better pictures in low light situations.
Performance-wise, it handles everyday tasks fine. No lag when switching between apps or browsing. Though I did notice some stuttering when trying to play more demanding games.
Biggest complaint? The buttons are placed terribly! I keep accidentally pressing them when holding the phone normally. Had to buy a case just to prevent accidental presses during calls.
Overall? For under $200 unlocked with 5G support (on T-Mobile at least), it's not bad if you need a basic smartphone that won't break the bank. Just don't expect flagship performance or build quality.
