As a huge fan of the classic comedy *Planes, Trains and Automobiles*, I couldn’t resist adding this Funko POP 2-pack to my collection. The moment I unboxed them, I was struck by how perfectly they capture the essence of Steve Martin’s stressed-out Neal Page and John Candy’s ever-optimistic Del Griffith. The details—from Neal’s exasperated frown to Del’s cheerful grin—are spot-on.
Standing at around 4.3 inches tall, these vinyl figures are the perfect size for display. I’ve got them perched on my entertainment center, and they never fail to bring a smile to my face when I glance over during movie nights. They’re especially fun during Thanksgiving, as they add a nostalgic touch to our holiday decor.
That said, I do have one minor gripe: Funko missed a golden opportunity by not including Del’s infamous trunk! It’s such an iconic part of the movie that its absence feels like a glaring omission for collectors like me.
Another downside? The packaging. One of my boxes arrived with noticeable damage, which is frustrating if you’re someone who likes to keep things mint-in-box. But if you’re an out-of-box collector like me, it’s less of an issue.
Despite these flaws, this set is a must-have for fans of the film. Whether you’re reliving their chaotic journey or introducing someone new to this holiday classic, Neal and Del bring humor and heart to any collection. Highly recommended—just maybe order from a seller with good packaging reviews!
