Just got my hands on the MincoHome Smart Thermostat and wanted to share my thoughts after a week of use.

The good stuff first: This little white box does exactly what it promises. The Tuya app control is smooth, letting me adjust temperatures from bed like a lazy emperor. Voice control with Alexa works surprisingly well - though I still feel weird talking to my thermostat.

The programmable features are a game-changer. Setting different temps for morning showers vs Netflix nights has made my place way more comfortable. And yes, you can turn off those annoying button beeps (bless).

Now the not-so-great: The installation was... an adventure. No mounting plate included? Seriously? Had to MacGyver it with some heavy-duty adhesive strips. Also, US buyers beware - the 60mm configuration doesn't play nice with standard covers here.

Final verdict: Works great if you're tech-savvy and don't mind some DIY solutions. Maybe not ideal for new construction projects though.
