Just got my hands on the FootJoy FJ Originals in white, and here's the tea ☕️. First off, they’re *stupid* comfortable—like walking on clouds if clouds had Pulsar LP cleats. The fit? Spot-on for my usual size (no weird toe-pinching).
BUT... not all rainbows. The laces are shorter than my patience waiting for tee times—had to lace them tighter than I’d like. Also, only 4 front spikes instead of 5? FootJoy, why you cutting corners? Still, grip’s solid even on dewy mornings.
Style-wise? Chef’s kiss 👌. Crisp white leather that wipes clean easily (bye, grass stains). My golf buddies asked if I joined a ‘clean shoe cult.’
Durability check: After 10 rounds, soles are holding up fine, but I saw one review where they peeled like a bad sunburn—yikes. Fingers crossed mine don’t ghost me mid-season.
Verdict: 4/5 stars. Would buy again… but maybe during a sale to justify the spike downgrade.
