Okay, so I finally caved and got this Govee thermometer after seeing it everywhere. And wow, it's actually pretty dope!

First off - the setup wasn't as scary as some reviews made it seem. Took me like 5 minutes tops to connect via the app. Pro tip: make sure your phone's on 2.4GHz WiFi before starting.

The real-time updates are crazy accurate. I've been using it to monitor my wine cellar (okay fine, it's just a fancy closet) and caught a humidity spike before my bottles could get ruined. Lifesaver alert!

Love that I can check temps from bed when I'm too lazy to get up. The widget feature is clutch for quick glances without opening the app.

Only gripe? The alerts sometimes come through late if my phone's in battery saver mode. But for $30? Totally worth it.

P.S. The lanyard is cute but I just stuck mine on the fridge with a magnet. Works perfectly!
