Okay, first off – this little book is a GAME CHANGER. It fits in my back pocket (yes, even my tiny jeans pocket!) and has become my grocery store sidekick. The amount of sketchy stuff hiding in everyday foods? Mind-blowing.
But real talk – the cover photo is... a choice. Like, why the dramatic boob shot? Could've just been a simple veggie pic or something. Minor gripe though.
The info itself is terrifyingly good. Learned that some cheese enzymes come from pig stomachs (WHAT?!), and that red food coloring is basically crushed bugs. Not cool, FDA. Not cool at all.
Wish it named more brand names to avoid, but it's still super useful for scanning ingredient lists. Now I side-eye every 'natural flavoring' like it's hiding dark secrets (because it probably is).
Bonus points: When I got a misprinted copy, the company sent a replacement SUPER fast with zero hassle. That kind of service makes me trust their research even more!
