Okay, so I just HAD to share my experience with this Artist Teabag Paper because wow - it's seriously versatile!
First off, the wet-strength is no joke. I've dunked it in water, painted over it with acrylics, even tried some messy alcohol inks - and it holds up like a champ. No disintegration or weird warping like regular tissue paper.
The semi-translucent quality is perfect for layering in my mixed media pieces. When I want opacity? Just a quick layer of PVA glue does the trick. The fabric-like texture adds such interesting dimension to collages.
Bonus points for including that art project guide! Jane Monteith's techniques gave me so many new ideas beyond what I originally planned to do with this paper.
Only minor complaint? The price per sheet works out a bit high compared to standard papers. But considering how many different techniques you can use it for (cyanotypes! gelli printing! encaustic!), I think it's worth the investment.
Shipping was super fast too - arrived way quicker than expected. Already planning my next order because I'm going through this roll faster than anticipated!
