Okay, so I caved and bought this Paw Patrol set for my 4-year-old's birthday. Best. Decision. Ever.

The play mat is WAY sturdier than I expected - it's made of thick plastic that folds into a storage box (genius!). My kid loves rolling the included cars around the city map, and I love not stepping on tiny toys at night.

Pro tip: Apply the stickers BEFORE giving it to your kid unless you enjoy playing 'Where does this tiny flame decal go?' for 30 minutes.

The transforming feature is seriously cool - folds up with all the toys inside in seconds. Though fair warning: The elevator mechanism is a bit fiddly (we pretend it's 'broken' when we don't feel like fixing it).

Worth noting: The vehicles are smaller than regular Paw Patrol toys, but the detailing is amazing. My kid hasn't stopped playing with it for weeks!
