Let me start by saying this 7-in-1 car emergency tool is something I never knew I needed until I had it. The combination of a window breaker, seatbelt cutter, and flashlight all in one compact device that plugs into your car's charging port is genius.
The build quality feels solid - the tungsten steel window breaker tip has some serious heft to it. I tested it (carefully!) on an old piece of glass and it shattered instantly with minimal pressure. The seatbelt cutter's razor-sharp blade also sliced through a test strap like butter.
Where this tool really shines is the flashlight function. The three modes (high, low, and SOS red light) are incredibly bright for such a small device. I've used it multiple times when checking my engine at night - the high beam at 130 lumens is seriously impressive.
However, not everything is perfect. Like some reviewers mentioned, the USB charging can be finicky. It works great for my iPhone about 80% of the time, but occasionally needs to be re-seated in the port. Also worth noting - the outer casing does tend to come loose if you're not careful when removing it from the charging port.
The peace of mind factor is huge here. Knowing I have emergency tools literally at my fingertips (it stays plugged into my car's charging port) makes me feel much safer on long drives. While I hope I never need to use its life-saving functions, it's comforting to know they're there.
Would I recommend it? Absolutely - but with two caveats: 1) Maybe avoid if you rely heavily on that USB charging port daily, and 2) Consider putting a drop of glue on the casing seam if it feels loose.
