Just got this Cudy AP1300 access point to fix my spotty WiFi situation in our 3-story house. Let me tell you - it's been a game changer!
The setup was surprisingly easy. I mounted it on the wall of our second floor (right between the basement router and upstairs bedrooms). The included mounting kits made installation a breeze - took me about 20 minutes total.
Performance is exactly as advertised. Where we used to have dead zones, now we get strong signals everywhere. My wife can finally binge her shows in bed without buffering, and the kids stopped complaining about dropped Zoom calls for school.
Love the dual-band capability (867Mbps + 300Mbps). I'm getting consistent speeds around 300-500Mbps throughout the house. The MU-MIMO tech really helps when multiple devices are connected simultaneously.
The PoE option is fantastic - I'm using it with an old injector I had lying around. Though fair warning, some users report compatibility issues with certain PoE standards.
Only minor gripe? It's a bit bulkier than other APs I've seen. But for the price and performance, I can definitely live with that!
If you're dealing with WiFi dead zones or need to extend coverage in a multi-level home, this Cudy access point is absolutely worth considering.
