Okay, so I just got these wood carving grinding discs and WOW – they're way better than I expected!
First off, they look kinda harmless compared to those aggressive-toothed discs from other brands. But don't let that fool you! These babies give such smooth, clean cuts without tearing up the wood. The tungsten carbide grains are perfectly spaced – not too harsh but still super effective.
I've been using them on softwoods and plywood, and man... the control is incredible! No more wrestling with my grinder like before. The discs just glide where I want them to go.
The quality? Top-notch. Made from tough carbon steel that hasn't shown any wear yet. And that #60/70 grit is perfect – removes material fast but leaves a surprisingly nice finish.
Bonus: They fit all my grinders (4-5 inch) thanks to the included reducing bushings. No adapter hunting needed!
For the price? Absolute steal. Already finding new uses for them beyond what I originally planned. If you do any wood shaping/carving, do yourself a favor and grab these!
