Okay, I'm officially obsessed with this teabag paper roll! At first I was skeptical about how "strong" thin paper could be, but wow - it holds up to everything from acrylic pours to cyanotype washing.
The semi-translucent quality is perfect for layering in collages. When I add glue or medium, it transforms into this gorgeous opaque texture that catches light beautifully. And can we talk about how it works with alcohol inks? Magic!
What surprised me most was the wet strength. Unlike tissue paper that disintegrates, this stuff withstands multiple mediums and techniques. I've used it for gelli printing, encaustic, even as tracing paper - it's crazy versatile.
The included project guide by Jane Monteith is such a nice bonus! Her techniques helped me create stunning layered pieces on my first try.
My only tiny complaint? The price feels a bit steep for the quantity. But considering how far the 12"x110" roll goes when cut to size, and how many techniques it works for... yeah, I'll definitely be repurchasing!
