Let me start by saying this little webcam blew my expectations out of the water. The OBSBOT Meet 2 packs serious 4K quality into a body smaller than my earbuds case - I literally laughed when unboxing it because it's so tiny!
The video quality is where this cam truly shines. That 1/2" sensor captures incredibly crisp details, even in my dimly lit home office. I've gotten multiple compliments during Zoom calls about how professional my video looks - coworkers thought I'd installed fancy lighting when really it's just this webcam's excellent light sensitivity.
The AI features are game-changers. The auto-framing works shockingly well - it smoothly tracks me as I move around during presentations. Gesture controls (like holding up an L to zoom) feel straight out of a sci-fi movie at first, but quickly become second nature.
That said, it's not perfect. The stand design is awkward - mine tends to droop slightly unless positioned just right. And yes, the metal body does get warm during long streaming sessions (though never hot enough to worry me).
For content creators, the beauty mode is subtle yet effective - smoothing skin tones without that weird 'Instagram filter' look cheaper webcams give. The dual mics also impress, clearly picking up my voice while filtering out keyboard clicks and AC noise.
At this price point, nothing else comes close in terms of features and quality. While premium options like the Logitech Brio exist, you're paying significantly more for marginal improvements. If you want pro-level streaming/video call quality without breaking the bank, this is hands-down your best bet.
