First off, the design of this set is adorable! My toddler actually gets excited to see her 'special metal plate' at mealtime. The divided sections are genius for picky eaters who don't want foods touching.

The weight and feel surprised me - they're substantial without being heavy for little hands. We've had some dramatic table flips (toddler life!), and these just clatter loudly without denting. Though I did notice some light scratches after a few weeks of dishwasher cycles.

My biggest concern was safety edges. After reading reviews, I carefully ran my finger along every rim - ours came perfectly smooth. The spoon does have slightly sharper edges than I'd prefer though.

Cleanup is a breeze! No weird plastic smells or stains like our old melamine set. Food slides right off, though tomato sauce sometimes needs a quick soak.

For the price, I expected absolute perfection. While not flawless, the peace of mind knowing there's zero chemical leaching makes it worth it for us. Just inspect your set thoroughly when it arrives!
