Okay, so I finally caved and bought this adjustable air deflector for my AC after months of getting blasted in the face with cold air. Here's the real tea:
First off, installation was stupid easy. The adhesive pads actually held up (shocking, I know). Just slot it into the AC vents and boom - no more wind tunnel effect on my forehead while I'm trying to work.
The telescopic design is legit useful. My AC unit is kinda weirdly positioned but this thing expanded to fit perfectly. You can adjust the angle too which is nice when I want indirect cooling vs full-on arctic blast mode.
BUT... it's not perfect. The hollow design means some air still sneaks through, and if your AC has super strong airflow, you might still feel some direct wind. Also mine makes this faint whistling noise sometimes when the AC is on high.
Overall? 8/10. Not a miracle worker but definitely makes my home office way more comfortable. Would recommend if you're tired of playing 'dodge the AC draft' every day.
