I recently tried the SUPERFINDINGS Seaweed Clip for my aquarium, and here's my honest take on it.
The clips are indeed lightweight and easy to install. The suction cups stick well to the tank glass, and I love that they’re rust-proof—no worries about them degrading in water over time. They held my dried seaweed sheets securely, and my fish seemed to enjoy nibbling at their leisure.
However, there’s one big downside: the clips are so light that they float! I had the same issue as other reviewers—my clip kept bobbing up instead of staying submerged. I ended up tying a small piece of aquarium-safe rock to weigh it down, which solved the problem but was an extra step I hadn’t anticipated.
On the plus side, these clips are versatile. I’ve also used them to hold small artificial plants in place, which added a nice touch to my tank’s decor. If you don’t mind adding a little weight to keep them submerged, they’re a handy tool for feeding or decorating.
Overall, they work well with some minor adjustments. Just be prepared to get creative if your fish are picky about floating feeders!
