Just got these GE333TS test strips for my glucose monitor, and here's the tea ☕️.
First off, the gold electrode tech is legit! Only need a tiny blood drop (good for us needle-shy folks). The 5-second results are crazy fast compared to my old strips.
The ejection system is kinda weird though? You gotta pull this little handle straight up like you're starting a lawnmower. Took me 3 tries to figure it out 🤦♀️.
Packaging: Comes in two cute little vials (25 strips each) which helps prevent moisture damage. But at $35 for 50 strips? Ouch. My diabetic cat could do better math on this pricing 🐱.
Accuracy: Spot-on compared to my doc's lab tests. Thicker than hospital strips (I'm an RN too!) so they don't feel flimsy.
Biggest gripe: Why not sell 100-count boxes? I test 4x daily and burn through these like candy. Come on GE, hook us up!
Final verdict: ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 - Works great but the price makes me wanna cry into my glucose logbook.
