Okay, so I've been testing this iOttie car charger with built-in Alexa for about a month now. Here's the real tea:
First off - the Alexa integration is LEGIT. Being able to ask for directions or change music without touching my phone while driving? Game changer. The dual mics actually work surprisingly well at picking up my voice over road noise.
The charging ports are where this thing shines though. My phone charges crazy fast with the USB-C PD port while my passenger can juice up simultaneously from the USB-A. No more fighting over who gets to charge first!
Now the not-so-great: The iOttie app situation is messy. Had to do some troubleshooting when setting up, and like other reviewers said, newer phones might have issues. Also had one random disconnect during a road trip that required a reset.
Design-wise, it looks sleek in my car's lighter socket area. The blue light is subtle enough that it doesn't annoy me at night.
Would I buy again? Honestly yes - when it works (which is 95% of the time), it's super convenient having Alexa in my car without extra gadgets everywhere.
