Just got this RF Broadband Amplifier Module with 40dB gain and was super excited to test it out for my amateur radio setup.
The specs looked perfect on paper - wide frequency range (30MHz-4000MHz), stable gain, and large dynamic range. Exactly what I needed for boosting weak signals across different bands.
But here's the deal breaker: it doesn't have standard US coax connectors! I spent hours trying to figure out how to connect it before realizing I'd need special adapters or to modify my existing cables.
Performance-wise, I can't really say much since I couldn't properly connect it. The build quality seems decent though, and the compact size is nice.
Would be an amazing module if they either included adapters or used more universal connectors. As is, it's going back unless I can find a simple solution to the connector problem.
