Just swapped to these SRAM organic pads for my Code R brakes, and wow—the difference is night and day compared to cheaper alternatives. They bite instantly without squealing, even in wet conditions.

The aluminum backing keeps them lightweight (barely noticed the upgrade on my enduro bike), and the included spring/pin kit made installation stupid easy. No weird bedding-in period either—just consistent stopping power from ride one.

Downside? These hurt the wallet. At nearly double the price of some competitors, I’d only recommend them if you’re chasing peak performance. My buddy’s Galfer pads lasted half as long before glazing over.
