Just got my hands on this Principles of Therapeutic Exercise textbook and WOW - it's exactly what I've been looking for as a PTA student!
The way it breaks down therapeutic approaches for different body systems is so clear. Those tables? *Chef's kiss* Perfect for quick reference during clinicals.
What really stands out are the case studies at the end of each chapter. They've saved my butt multiple times when prepping for practical exams. The photos demonstrating techniques are super helpful too - none of that blurry nonsense you sometimes get in textbooks.
My professor recommended this and now I see why. It's written specifically for PTAs (not just adapted from PT materials) and you can tell the authors really understand what we need to know.
Only downside? It's a bit heavy to carry around campus all day. But totally worth it for how much use I'm getting out of it!
