Just finished shielding my Telecaster with this copper foil tape and wow, what a difference! The conductive adhesive is legit - no more annoying hum from my single coils. Had to get a bit creative with wiring though.
The tape is super thin and easy to cut, but be careful - those edges are sharp! Got a few paper cuts during application. Pro tip: wear gloves when working with this stuff.
One roll was enough for two full guitars with some leftover. Way better than messing with conductive paint or regular foil. The adhesive stays sticky but comes off clean if you need to reposition.
Not gonna lie, it takes some patience to get neat-looking coverage in the cavities. I found working with smaller strips and overlapping them worked better than trying to cover large areas at once.
While it didn't completely eliminate all noise (let's be real, single coils will always hum a bit), the reduction was dramatic. My guitar went from sounding like an AM radio to nearly silent when not playing.
