Okay, so I finally got my hands on this Senston badminton set after seeing mixed reviews. Here's my totally unfiltered take after a weekend of backyard battles with my cousins!
First off - the rackets are LIGHT. Like, 'swing-so-fast-you-might-accidentally-hit-yourself' light. The carbon-fiber alloy frame isn't kidding around. Played for hours and my arms didn't feel like falling off, which is a win.
The carrying bag? Super convenient. Threw in some water bottles and extra shuttlecocks (more on those later) and we were good to go. The grips are... well, they're grips. Did the job but nothing fancy - though the random colors made for some fun team assignments ('blue grip vs orange grip' rivalry got intense).
Now the not-so-great: Those included shuttlecocks? Mine arrived looking like they'd been sat on by an elephant. Completely deformed. Good thing I had some old ones lying around because these were instant trash.
For casual play? Absolute gold. We had tournaments all weekend and these held up fine against some pretty aggressive smashes (my cousin thinks he's Olympic material). But if you're looking for serious equipment, maybe look at their pro line.
Final verdict: Great for backyard warriors, students, or family game nights. Just... maybe buy your own shuttlecocks separately.
