I recently installed the Cadet Com-Pak Electric Wall Heater in my small bathroom, and I'm genuinely impressed. The compact design blends seamlessly into the wall, almost disappearing when not in use. But don't let its size fool you—this little unit packs a serious punch. Within minutes of turning it on, the room goes from chilly to cozy.
The installation was simpler than I expected. Three screws and some basic wiring (though I did need to supply my own knockout connector). The recessed mounting keeps it flush with the wall, and the white finish matches my bathroom perfectly. The built-in thermostat is a game-changer—no more fiddling with separate controls.
What surprised me most was how quiet it is. The centrifugal fan pushes out heat efficiently without the loud humming I've experienced with other heaters. It cycles on and off smoothly as it maintains the temperature, though I did notice it can be a bit aggressive in smaller spaces.
One word of caution: like another reviewer mentioned, I'd recommend installing a separate switch if you're using 208V or plan to ceiling-mount it. The thermostat alone might not be enough for complete control.
After using it through a cold snap, I can confidently say this heater outperforms older models twice its size. It's become my go-to solution for spot heating—so much so that I'm considering getting another for my home office.
