As someone who's built dozens of Bandai kits, the Exodia Incarnate Figure-Rise Standard Amplified model surprised me with its sheer presence. When assembled, this 210mm beast dominates my display shelf like a forbidden deity - just as Exodia should.
The build process was shockingly smooth for such an intricate design. Unlike some Bandai kits that require tweezers for microscopic parts, Exodia's larger components (especially those glorious chains!) made assembly feel almost therapeutic. The undergated parts are a godsend - no visible nub marks even on the gold sections.
Posing this monster is where the kit truly shines. The dual-axis shoulder mechanism lets you recreate those iconic 'arms spread wide' manga poses perfectly. Though fair warning - those beautiful chains do tend to pop off during dramatic reposing sessions (mine currently has two dangling 'accidentally' for a battle-damaged effect).
My only gripe? The face stickers. That gorgeous geometric patterning deserves paint - I used Tamiya accent liner in brown and the details popped like ancient hieroglyphics. Also wish Bandai included alternate hands for different spell-casting poses.
For Yu-Gi-Oh! fans, this is easily the most impressive card-come-to-life I've built. It makes my RG Hi-ν Gundam look tiny in comparison! While priced slightly higher than standard kits, the shelf presence justifies every penny. Just maybe keep super glue handy for those chains if you're planning frequent pose changes!
