As a longtime Dragon Ball collector, I was thrilled to unbox the Beerus Version 2 figure. The moment I held it, the weight and texture immediately stood out – this isn’t some flimsy toy. The matte finish on his purple fur contrasts perfectly with the glossy gold accessories, just like in the anime.
What really impressed me was the articulation. I spent a solid hour recreating Beerus’ signature hakai pose from the Tournament of Power arc. The joints hold their position even when balanced on one leg mid-kick (though my cat did knock him over twice – blame real-life ‘destruction’).
The interchangeable hands are genius. I keep the open-palm version displayed on my desk for when work gets stressful – nothing like pretending to vaporize spreadsheets. The energy effect piece fits snugly and doesn’t droop like cheaper figures I’ve owned.
While perfect for display, be warned: younger fans might struggle with detachable parts. My nephew’s play session resulted in three spontaneous disassemblies during an epic battle with a Goku figure.
