Okay, so I just finished 'The Love of My Life' and WOW. This book had me crying in my coffee one minute and gasping the next. Rosie Walsh really knows how to play with your heartstrings!
The way the story unfolds through different perspectives is genius. One chapter you're like 'I totally get Emma', then next thing you know Leo's POV has you questioning everything. That marine biologist twist? Did NOT see that coming!
Fair warning though - keep tissues handy. The cancer storyline hit way too close to home for me, but it was handled with such raw honesty that I couldn't stop reading even when it hurt.
Only complaint? The first 100 pages dragged a bit. Almost DNF'd but SO glad I pushed through because once the secrets start unraveling? Absolute page-turner!
P.S. If you're going through IVF or pregnancy loss, maybe save this for a stronger day. Some parts were tough but ultimately healing to read.
