Let me start by saying, these headphones are a rockstar in the audio world. The Marshall Major V delivers that signature Marshall sound – thunderous bass that doesn't overwhelm, smooth mids, and crisp highs that make every note shine. As a classic rock fan, hearing my favorite tracks through these was like rediscovering them.
The 100+ hour battery life is absolutely insane. I've used them daily for weeks without needing a charge. The wireless charging is convenient when you finally do need to power up – no fumbling with cables at midnight when you realize they're low.
Comfort is great for on-ear headphones. The soft ear pads don't cause fatigue during long sessions, though after 4+ hours you'll want a break (they are on-ear after all). The foldable design makes them perfect for tossing in my backpack without worrying about damage.
Now for the quirks: The M-button customization requires the app, which feels unnecessary. Why can't I program this directly on the headphones? Also, the power button placement is awkward – I've accidentally turned them off multiple times by leaning back against a pillow.
The lack of active noise cancellation might bother some, but honestly, the passive isolation works well enough for daily use. And while they don't have all the bells and whistles of premium ANC headphones, what they do (sound quality and battery life), they do exceptionally well.
Bottom line: If you want marathon battery life with great sound in a stylish package and can live without ANC, these are an excellent choice. They've become my daily drivers over more expensive options because they just work – and work incredibly well at what matters most: playing music beautifully.
