I recently got this security alarm for my apartment door, and it's been a mixed experience. The first thing I noticed was how lightweight and easy to install it was – just hang it on the door handle, and you're good to go.

The alarm is LOUD. Like, really loud. At 120db, it definitely startled me the first time I accidentally triggered it. It's great for deterring intruders, but my neighbors probably hate me now.

I've had some issues with reliability though. After a few months of working perfectly (giving me peace of mind during late-night hours), it suddenly stopped functioning. The battery replacement didn't fix it either.

When it worked, I loved how sensitive the motion detection was. It picked up even slight movements of my door handle. But I wish the build quality matched its performance - the ABS plastic feels a bit flimsy for long-term use.

For the price, it's decent temporary security solution, but I wouldn't rely on it as my only line of defense. Now I'm looking for something more durable as a replacement.
