Let me start by saying this printer is a breeze to set up. I had it up and running in under 10 minutes, and the wireless connection was surprisingly painless. The little 1.5" LCD screen might seem basic, but it actually makes navigating through settings way easier than I expected.
The print quality? Pretty decent for everyday documents and occasional color prints. I printed some family photos on 4x6 paper, and while they're not gallery-quality, they're good enough for the fridge door. The speed is acceptable too - about what you'd expect for a budget printer.
Now for the not-so-great parts. That glossy paper limitation mentioned in some reviews? It's real. I tried printing an 8x10 glossy photo and ended up with something that looked like it came from a 1990s dot matrix printer. Also, the ink consumption feels aggressive - I swear I can see the cartridge levels dropping with each print.
The mobile printing works well when it works, but sometimes the connection drops mysteriously. When that happens, I just plug in the USB cable (which isn't included, by the way) and it works fine as a wired printer.
Would I recommend it? For light home use where you need basic printing, scanning and copying - yes, especially at this price point. But if you're looking for professional photo printing or heavy daily use, keep looking.
