Okay, so I grabbed this LP-E12 charger for my Canon SL1, and here's the deal—it does its job, but with a weird little twist.
First off, it charges my batteries just fine. No complaints there. The amber 'Charge' LED lights up when it's doing its thing, and turns off when the battery is full. Simple enough.
But here's the odd part: the green 'Full' LED? It’s always on. Like, even when there’s no battery in the slot. What’s the point of that? It’s like having a 'full' light that’s permanently stuck in 'full' mode. Kinda defeats the purpose, right?
Aside from that LED quirk, though, it’s a solid charger. Lightweight, compact (fits in my bag easily), and feels durable. Plus, it’s got all those safety certifications, so no worries about frying my batteries.
Bottom line: If you can ignore the pointless green light (or just pretend it doesn’t exist), this charger gets the job done without any drama.
