After cycling through flimsy covers that cracked like potato chips in winter (RIP, two Weber-brand casualties), this HomWanna cover feels like armor for my Genesis. The 600D fabric has a satisfying heft—like a rugged raincoat—but isn’t bulky. Stormy nights? Rain beads right off while the adjustable Velcro straps (wider than most!) keep it anchored during gusts that used to send my old cover flying into the neighbor’s yard.
I was skeptical about the ‘fade-resistant’ claim, but after six months of Florida sun, the black still looks fresh—no ghostly graying. Bonus: The included storage bag makes off-season stashing stupidly easy (goodbye, crumpled-ball-of-cover in the garage).
It’s slightly roomier than expected (my Genesis Platinum swims in it), but I’ll take extra drape over a too-tight fit. If it survives hurricane season as well as it has handled daily UV torture, I’m buying a second one preemptively.
