Let me start by saying, this hat looks sleek. The small contrast logo gives it that understated luxury vibe Armani is known for. I've worn it with everything from casual tees to smart-casual outfits, and it always adds a polished touch.
The fit is where things get interesting. It's definitely on the smaller side - if you've got a larger head, you might struggle. I'm average-sized and it fits snugly, which I actually prefer for baseball caps. No worrying about wind theft!
Now the bad news: that back strap situation is real. After about 3 months of light use (maybe twice a week), mine started showing wear at the clasp mechanism. It hasn't broken completely yet, but I'm babying it now after reading other reviews about snaps failing.
Quality-wise, the fabric and stitching feel premium when new. But at this price point, I expected better durability from the hardware components. It's frustrating because when intact, this is one of my favorite minimalist caps design-wise.
Would I repurchase? Maybe - but only on deep discount knowing the longevity issues. There are better-built hats at this price, though few with Armani's brand cachet.
