Let's talk about the Stafford 4 Pack Woven Cotton Boxers. On paper, they sound perfect: combed cotton for all-day comfort, preshrunk for lasting fit, and reinforced stitching. But how do they really hold up in real life?
First, the positives. The fabric is thick and soft, which is great for durability. Many users (including myself) found the fit to be spot-on - not too tight, not too loose. They're ideal for lounging around the house or wearing under jeans. Plus, after several washes, they retain their color and size well.
However, there's a major downside that can't be ignored: the waistband. Some users (and I agree) find it uncomfortably 'pokey' and stiff. No amount of washing seems to soften it. It's a shame because everything else about these boxers is great - the fabric quality, the cut, the style.
Another point to note: recent versions have removed some features like the inner band to cut costs, which affects comfort over time.
Would I recommend them? If you're not sensitive about waistbands and prioritize fabric quality, yes. But if comfort is your top priority, you might want to look elsewhere despite Stafford's generally good reputation.
