Let me start by saying these sheets feel like sliding into a cloud. The first night I used them, I was genuinely shocked by how soft and smooth they were against my skin. The sateen weave gives them a slight sheen that makes my bedroom look instantly more luxurious.
I've washed them about five times now, and they do get softer with each wash. The cream color has held up beautifully, and they haven't pilled at all. They're definitely cooler than my old cotton sheets, which is perfect since I tend to sleep hot.
However - and this is a big however - the fitted sheet situation is frustrating. Like some reviewers mentioned, the elastic is disappointingly thin. On my standard king mattress, it does stay on but just barely. I find myself having to readjust it every couple days, which I never had to do with my previous sheets.
The pillowcases are smaller than I expected too. My standard king pillows fit, but there's not much extra fabric. If you have thick pillows, these might be tight.
For the price point ($170 for king size), I expected perfection. While they're undoubtedly comfortable, some construction details feel cheap. That said, when I'm actually in bed enjoying them, none of that matters because they just feel so darn good.
Would I buy again? Maybe - but only on sale. They're great sheets if you prioritize softness over durability signals (like thick elastic). Just don't expect them to transform your bed into a five-star hotel experience overnight.
