I recently got my hands on the RÖSLE Barbecue Premium Set, and I have to say, it's been a bit of a rollercoaster experience. Here's the breakdown:
The gloves are definitely the star of the show. Made from flame-retardant Meta-aramid fibers with non-slip silicone grips, they actually live up to the 'premium' claim. I've used them for handling hot grill grates and even adjusting charcoal, and they provide solid protection without sacrificing dexterity.
Now, about those tongs - they look sleek with their matte stainless steel finish, but functionality is another story. The patented closure system sounds great in theory, but in practice? Mine stick constantly, making it frustrating when I'm trying to flip burgers quickly during a busy BBQ session.
The cleaning brush was my biggest disappointment. After just a few uses, I noticed the brush head starting to separate from its holder. For something marketed as premium, this is unacceptable - especially when you're mid-cleanup with grease everywhere.
Would I recommend this set? Only if you're really just after the gloves. The other pieces feel like they belong in a much cheaper set. At this price point, I expected all three items to perform flawlessly together as a cohesive grilling system.
