Okay, so I finally got my hands on The Flash 4K UHD and... wow, what a mixed bag! Let me break it down for you:
First off - Michael Keaton's Batman? Absolute perfection. The man still owns that role after 30+ years. His scenes alone make this worth buying.
The multiverse stuff is wild though - we get everything from Nicolas Cage as Superman (yes, really!) to that bizarre giant spider sequence from the scrapped Tim Burton film. Some CGI is rough (looking at you, Speed Force scenes), but the action sequences mostly deliver.
Barry Allen's dual performance is fun but gets a bit too quippy at times. That scene where he loses his powers and just squeaks around? Cute at first, then kinda annoying.
Special shoutout to Supergirl though - she absolutely steals every scene she's in. Way more compelling than I expected!
The 4K transfer looks great (except for those iffy CGI bits), and the Dolby Atmos mix will give your home theater a workout. Extras are solid too - over an hour of behind-the-scenes stuff plus a 90-minute podcast.
Final verdict? Not top-tier DC like Snyder's Justice League, but way better than the reviews suggest. A fun 3.5/5 star adventure that's worth watching just for Keaton's return.
