Okay, so I got this Spasilk hooded towel set for my niece's baby shower. First impression? Super cute zebra design! The packaging looked gift-worthy and the price seemed reasonable for 3 towels + 20 washcloths.

The good stuff: These are seriously soft right out of the package. Washed them about 5 times now and they've held up well - no pilling or weird texture changes. My sister says her newborn doesn't react to the material at all (she's got semi-sensitive skin).

But... (there's always a but) the towels are thinner than I expected. Like, they'll dry a newborn fine, but my sister ended up buying thicker towels for when her baby gets bigger. The washcloths are decent though - perfect size for little faces and hands.

Final verdict? Great as a supplemental set or gift (people loved the zebra print!), but maybe not sturdy enough to be your only baby towels. Would I buy again? Probably - just with adjusted expectations.
