Let me start by saying these Brady Oxfords are STUNNING at first glance. The brogue detailing and cap-toe design give them that perfect 'dressed-up-but-not-trying-too-hard' look I crave for office days. The leather has a beautiful sheen that made my coworkers ask where I got them.
BUT... (and this is a big but) the comfort level was disappointing right out of the box. The narrow fit had my pinky toes screaming after just 2 hours of wear. I followed the 'break them in' advice religiously - wore thick socks, used shoe stretchers - but even after 3 weeks, they never became truly comfortable for all-day wear.
The sole durability is another issue. After just 5 wears to the office (where I'm mostly sitting!), I noticed significant wear on the leather soles. For $300+ shoes, I expected better longevity. My Cole Haans from 3 years ago have held up better.
Size warning: They run small! I typically wear a 10D but had to exchange for a 10.5E which still feels snug. If you're between sizes or have wide feet, definitely size up.
Final verdict? They're beautiful shoes that turn heads, but the comfort and durability don't match the price tag. If you need occasional dress shoes and love the style, maybe wait for a sale. For everyday wear? Keep looking.
