Just got my hands on the Jersey Boys DVD and wow, what a ride! If you're into 60s music, this is pure gold. Clint Eastwood really nailed the vibe of that era.
The first 20 minutes had me worried it might be slow, but once the story picks up - BAM! You're hooked. The way they blend personal struggles with iconic music? Chef's kiss.
Frankie Valli's voice still gives me chills. Seeing the behind-the-scenes drama of The Four Seasons adds so much depth to songs I've heard a million times.
Pro tip: Watch with subtitles. Some of those Jersey accents are THICK (but totally authentic).
The DVD extras are decent - especially the making-of featurette showing how they recreated those perfect harmonies.
Only complaint? Now I've got 'Sherry' stuck in my head for days. Worth it though!
