Okay, so I bought this 'Essential Oils and Bath Salts for ADHD' book hoping for some fresh natural remedy ideas. The info inside is actually pretty solid - lots of different oil blends and relaxation techniques I hadn't heard before.
BUT... (and this is a big but) the writing style is dryer than my grandma's fruitcake. Like, I found myself zoning out halfway through chapters even though the content was useful. It reads more like a textbook than a self-help guide.
The bath salt recipes are legit though! Made the lavender-magnesium one last night and actually slept through my usual 3am anxiety spiral. So points for effectiveness, minus points for making me feel like I'm back in chemistry class.
Wish the author had included more personal stories or case studies to make it more engaging. As it is, I'll probably just photocopy the useful pages and donate the book to my local library's 'cure for insomnia' section.
