Okay, so I’ve been using the Medix 5.5 Retinol Body Lotion for about a month now, and here’s the tea ☕️.
First off, the texture is *chef’s kiss*—creamy but not greasy, absorbs like a dream. No weird sticky residue, which is a win because who has time for that?
I was skeptical about retinol in a body lotion (my face hates it), but this formula is gentle yet effective. My crepey skin on my arms? Way smoother. The sagging near my knees? Firmer. And don’t even get me started on how soft my skin feels—like I’ve been babying it for years.
The scent is subtle, kinda fresh with a hint of something luxe? Not overpowering, which I appreciate since I hate smelling like a perfume counter.
Also, props for being cruelty-free and packed with good stuff like shea butter and vitamin E. My skin drinks it up, especially after showers.
Downside? The bottle design is cute but impractical—so much product gets stuck at the bottom! I had to MacGyver a spatula to scrape it all out. Medix, fix this pls!
Verdict: 9/10. Would repurchase (but maybe decant into a better bottle).
