I've been using the Fire TV Stick 4K with the Luna Controller for a while now, and it's been a mixed bag. The setup for the Fire Stick was seamless—it recognized my Amazon account instantly. But the Luna Controller? That's another story.
Even after a month, I'm still wrestling with getting the controller properly connected. It's frustrating when you're excited to jump into gaming and hit technical snags right out of the gate.
When it works, though, cloud gaming feels magical. Playing Fortnite without a console is wild—just fire up the Luna app and you're in. The controller itself is comfortable with nice weight distribution, though I wish the buttons had more tactile feedback.
The real game-changer is Cloud Direct technology. When connected properly (big 'when'), latency is impressively low for cloud gaming. I've had some great sessions with Jackbox games during parties—when everyone's laughing, you forget you're streaming games.
Would I recommend it? With caveats. If you're patient with tech setups and already invested in Amazon's ecosystem (Prime membership helps), it's a novel way to game. But if plug-and-play is your priority, maybe wait until they iron out these connection kinks.
