Let me start by saying these USB C headphones deliver where it matters most - sound quality. The bass is punchy, mids are clear, and highs don't get tinny even at max volume. I've used them for everything from hip-hop to podcasts, and they handle all genres surprisingly well for the price.
The build quality feels premium with those metal-plated connectors. After two months of daily use (including being stuffed in pockets and backpacks), there's no fraying or loose connections. The 1-meter cord is just right - long enough to move around but not so long that it gets tangled constantly.
Now the not-so-good: that microphone issue other reviewers mentioned? It's real. During Zoom calls, colleagues kept asking if I was "in a wind tunnel." The noise cancellation seems to amplify background sounds rather than suppress them. Fine for casual chats, but I wouldn't trust these for important work calls.
The inline remote is a lifesaver though - skipping tracks during my commute without pulling out my phone is clutch. And having two pairs means I've always got backups when I inevitably lose one (we've all been there).
Bottom line: At this price point, they're fantastic for music and decent for videos/gaming. Just don't buy them primarily for calls unless you enjoy repeating "Can you hear me now?" every 30 seconds.
