Just got this 4-racket set for weekend games with my kids, and wow—it’s way better than I expected! The aluminum frames feel sturdy, not like those flimsy plastic ones that snap if you sneeze near them. The carbon fiber stems add a nice springiness too.
The grip? Actually decent! No weird bumps or unraveling tape like my old Walmart set. My 7-year-old could actually hit the birdie consistently (miracle alert!). The included bag is a lifesaver—fits all four rackets + birdies without that annoying 'stuff and pray' method.
Downsides? The neon-green birdies are basically runway lights—great for visibility, but half of us now have temporary retina damage. Also, the rackets came wrapped like mummies in layers of plastic. Took longer to unbox than to play our first game.
Verdict: For backyard battles or teaching kids, this set punches above its price. Not pro-level, but way better than ‘disposable’ kits. Extra points for surviving my nephew’s ‘ground smash’ technique!
