Okay, so I just finished watching the 4K Blu-ray of Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths Part 3 and... WOW. As someone who's been following DC animated movies since forever, this might be their best finale yet.
The animation quality is insane - like 'pause-every-frame-to-appreciate-the-details' good. That final battle scene where all the universes collide? Pure eye candy.
What really got me was how they handled the emotional moments. No spoilers, but there's a sacrifice scene that actually made me tear up (and I NEVER cry during superhero stuff). The voice acting absolutely sells it.
My only gripe? Some plot points from Parts 1 and 2 get resolved a bit too quickly. But honestly, when the action and character moments are this strong, it's easy to forgive.
French import worked perfectly in my US player (region-free FTW!), and the special features are surprisingly substantial - about 45 minutes of behind-the-scenes stuff that's actually worth watching.
If you're even slightly into DC comics or just love epic animated films, this is a must-buy. Now excuse me while I go rewatch my favorite scenes for the third time today...
