First off, the detailing on this figure is insane. The paint job is flawless, and the articulation is buttery smooth. I was able to pose Shy in dynamic action stances without any joints feeling loose—she holds her position like a champ.
The accessories are a huge win. Four extra face plates and four pairs of hands? That’s a dream for posing variety. I especially love the transparent goggles—they add so much personality when swapped out. The soft plastic cape is a nice touch too; no fear of snapping it during aggressive posing.
But here’s the thing: her coat makes her top-heavy. She’s not the easiest to balance without a stand, especially in mid-air poses. And yeah, the head doesn’t tilt upward much due to the hood design, which limits some expressive angles.
For display, she pairs beautifully with other figures. I’ve got her mid-battle next to my S.H.Figuarts collection, and she doesn’t look out of place—just more vibrant. The face plates capture her shy (pun intended) and determined expressions perfectly.
Minor gripes? The skin tone is slightly darker than promo images, and joint gaps are visible at extreme poses. But at this price point (especially if you snag a deal), she’s a steal for fans of the series or anime figure collectors who appreciate solid engineering.
