Just got my hands on the Powermax Alkaline Batteries 24-count combo pack, and here's my take on it!
First off, the convenience of having both AA and AAA batteries in one pack is a huge win. No more last-minute store runs because I ran out of one size. The reclosable packaging is a nice touch—keeps everything tidy and easy to grab when needed.
Performance-wise, these batteries hold up pretty well. I’ve used them in everything from my TV remote to my kid’s noisy toys (thank goodness for battery-powered distractions). They last longer than some cheaper brands I’ve tried, though I wouldn’t say they’re the absolute top-tier for high-drain devices like gaming controllers.
The 10-year shelf life is reassuring, especially since I tend to stock up. No leaks so far, which is always a plus. And hey, they’re mercury- and cadmium-free, so I feel slightly better about tossing them (responsibly, of course).
Only gripe? One reviewer mentioned getting an opened package—mine were fine, but worth checking when they arrive. Overall, solid value for the price. Not the fanciest, but they get the job done!
