Just installed these ENLEE bar ends on my commuter bike. First impressions? They're crazy lightweight - like, barely-there kind of light. The hollow design looks sleek and definitely helps with ventilation during long rides.
The installation was a breeze with the included hex wrench. I love having multiple hand positions now, especially for those uphill climbs where I need extra leverage. The plastic feels sturdy enough... at first.
BUT here's the catch - after just two weeks of normal use, I noticed cracks forming near the screw holes. Didn't even crash or anything! Kinda disappointing since they advertise these as 'high-strength'. My old metal ones lasted years without issues.
For short rides around town? Probably fine. But if you're putting in serious miles like me (20+ daily), you might want something more durable despite the higher price tag.
3/5 stars - great concept, needs better materials.
