Let me start by saying, this Maxslak 72" ceiling fan is a game-changer for large spaces. I installed it in my living room with vaulted ceilings, and the airflow is incredible even on the lowest setting. The six-speed DC motor is whisper-quiet - at level 3, you can feel a gentle breeze moving your hair from across the room!
The smart features are where this fan really shines. Being able to control it via Alexa or my phone while lounging on the couch is pure luxury. I particularly love setting temperature-based automation - it turns on when my room gets too warm and off when it's comfortable again.
Design-wise, the antique bronze finish looks premium and blends well with various decors. The dual-finish blades (I chose light oak) add a nice rustic touch. However, I agree with other reviewers that the plastic light globe feels a bit cheap compared to the fan's overall quality.
Installation was surprisingly easy thanks to the clear video instructions and multiple downrod options (I needed the 24" one). Just be careful working on ladders - those blades are huge! One tip: if you have very high ceilings like mine, you might need to request an extra-long downrod from their excellent customer service.
The dimmable LED light offers three color temperatures, though it might not be bright enough as sole lighting for very large rooms (I supplemented with can lights). At less than 35dB even at top speed, this fan delivers powerful airflow without disrupting movie nights or conversations.
For outdoor use, it's held up perfectly on my covered patio through several rainstorms. The reversible motor will be great for circulating warm air come winter. While not perfect (that plastic globe!), this smart ceiling fan offers premium features at a reasonable price point - definitely worth considering for large indoor or covered outdoor spaces.
